Physician - Protective Security Specialist

The Role:

Are you a physician seeking an adventurous career? Then this position could be for you! You would serve as a non-armed team member of a Protective Security Specialist (PSS) team. You will provide data-driven emergency medical care to team members and principals as required. Due to the nature of these working environments, it is important that you have a background operating in various austere high-risk environments. You will function as the primary medical provider on a PSS team. Ideally, you will have a strong background in military and security operations and the ability to function to the full extent of your abilities in potentially hazardous environments. Although this is an unarmed role, candidates should be comfortable operating in an environment with firearms including a Glock-19 and M4.

Rotations::  Varies per assignment

Location:   Worldwide assignments. Candidates should be aware of the inherent risk that comes with providing medical support in conflict-prone regions.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Position Qualifications
U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Doctor of Medicine/ Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. School
Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States
Current unrestricted license to practice medicine within at least one U.S. state
Current or eligible for Board Certification: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Internal Medicine
8+ years of experience within your specialty

Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification

Trauma Life Support Certification: TCCC, ATLS, ITLS, PHTLS
Completion of Fellowship in related field
