Basic Functions and Responsibilities:
• Reviews pre-employment physical exams and drug screens, following NIDA./Client guidelines while maintaining strictest confidence and chain of custody format.
• Oversee the Monthly Random Drug Program.
• Assist Field Safety with daily requirements as needed.
• Coordinates first aid and medical treatment for injured employees.
• Maintain equipment and supplies within/outside the First Aid office.
• Monitors/Conducts first aid and safety training for all safety personnel.
• Communicate with (Medical Review Office) professional medical and safety personnel at labs, emergency rooms, and physicians’ offices regarding further treatment, lab results, and follow-up care.
• Maintain medical and legal files, assuring proper record keeping.
• Assist field Safety personnel in developing safety and health procedures for management implementation.
• Maintain current information on events in the safety and health field.

• Certification as EMT or EMT/Paramedic

Skills & Experience Required:
• 5-10 years EMT/Paramedic experience in the Engineering & Construction Industry.
• Thorough understanding of all federal, state, local, and Client regulations.
• Ability to recognize hazardous situations and recommend corrective measures.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer – spreadsheet, word processor.
• Ability to work at Heights and High Temperatures.

Reports to: Site Safety, Manager
Candidates must be local to Savannah, GA and authorized to work in the US.
