Location: AustraliaWe are currently taking applications from suitably qualified Medic professionals for construction works in Mandurah. This Industrial Medic position is based on site for a duration of around 1 year. The role includes an administration aspect and will be required to perform administrative duties as required to support the project team. The successful candidate will be required to work from Monday to Friday, the person may be required to work Saturday however this is not frequent. The person will be working as a part of the safety team onsite and employed on a casual basis.
Job Responsibilities
Providing First Aid treatment and coordination of Emergency Services to employees and contractors across the operation
Conducting scheduled inspections, stocktakes, stock ordering for all on site first aid stations
Assist safety with carrying out inspections and audits
General data entry duties
Maintain registers (safety, training, planning, etc.)
Maintain induction records and processing of induction cards
Provide necessary support to site management
The candidate will require:
Minimum of a Cert IV Health Care (Ambulance) – or equivelant
3-5 years' experience within construction/mining industry desirable
Previous administration experience preferred
Must have work rights in Australia
OHS construction card
A valid driver's license
Computer literate - ability to use Microsoft office suite (outlook, word, power point, excel etc.),
Cert IV OHS, Cert IV training and assessing and fire warden desirable but not required
A self-motivated and positive attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
The ability to organise and prioritise tasks
Exceptional time management skills
