We are searching for FULL-TIME LONG-TERM experienced expedition medic professionals to lead our tours alongside our local teams.

Although exact rostas would vary depending on our tour schedule, we would expect you to work an average of 2 months away, 1 month at home. You will still be required to contribute to the business whilst not on tour.

Represent Ride Expeditions as the tour host & leader;
Provide your own fully stocked trauma kit;
Hold the necessary professional indemnity insurance;
Research all local medical facilities and evacuation options prior to every tour;
Be aware of all clients medical backgrounds, allergies, insurance details etc;
Manage the local staff and ensure western standards are met;
Promote safe riding within the group;
Deal with any client requests / complaints;
Provide any necessary first-aid;
React to any emergencies that may occur.

Paramedic level qualifications;
A minimum of 10 years on and off-road motorcycle experience;
A very high level of ‘bike-fitness’... our off-road motorcycle tours can be technically challenging and in very hot & humid climates. You will often be working much harder than our clients as you will need to help those that are struggling;
Experience leading and managing large groups;
You have to be a real ‘people person’ with the ability to socialise with all different groups;
We would ask you to write a ‘ride report’ for our blog after every trip. We have an editor that will input this to our website, so you will just need to provide the text and accompanying photos;
We would also ask you to contribute to our social media channels;

NOT ESSENTIAL AS TRAINING CAN BE GIVEN: Good photography and video skills, using both a handheld camera and a drone.

As this is a full-time position with every third month (approximately) spent at home, we would require you to be able to contribute to other areas of the business in between tours. Examples of other skills that would benefit our company are:
Photography & editing;
Video production & editing;
Digital marketing;
Business management & development;
Blog writing - either motorcycle or adventure travel related;
Social media;
Accounting & legal.

£15,500 - £24,000, reflective of your ‘other skills’. All expenses will be covered whilst on tour + travel expenses. We are only interested in long-term candidates.

Motorcycle hire;
Whilst on tour: fuel, meals, accommodation, other entrance fees + riding permits etc.;
In between tours, whilst still abroad: accommodation only;

Professional indemnity insurance;
Fully stocked trauma kit;
Travel insurance.
