Job Summary
The part-time Medical Team Coordinator will work on-site for the ASNA client, a fortune 500 company. This individual will be responsible for creating a large medical program for all Executive Protection Teams, ensuring the most up-to-date standards in equipment and procedures. This individual will also create and launch training exercises for all executive protection team members, including emergency scenario based exercises. This is a part-time opportunity; the person is this role must be available to work 20-25 hours per week.

Duties & Qualifications
Prefer at least EMT-A or paramedic, EMT-B minimum requirement; licensed in California
Wilderness EMT or Remote Medical experience is a plus
Must maintain current ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, & CPR/AED Pro or equivalent
Candidate should be a certified instructor in:
NAEMT
Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
TCCC American Heart Association
American Heart Association
CPR/AED, Professional Rescuer
First Responder Course
Candidate must have at least two years of experience on ambulance or in an ER
The candidate must possess more than just coursework in the field
Must live in the greater San Francisco Bay Area
Must be able to travel domestically and/or internationally (travel requirements, less than 10%)
Must be available to work some evenings and weekends, as needed
Possess teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidate must be able to run scenario based training for Executive Protection Team and possess a working knowledge of the medical needs of such a team
Candidate will be responsible for building out a large, medical program for Executive Protection Teams
Candidate will standardize teams' equipment and procedures
Candidate will be responsible for identifying the needs of the teams' medical kits as well as for training on the kits and conducting regular inventories
Coordinate with vendors to obtain proper authorization for equipment and medications
Must possess a valid passport
Candidate will be responsible for monitoring medical risk to the program
Provide hospital information for EP teams when traveling
Provide evacuation plans/needs for EP teams
Must be able to travel with EP team and principals when needed (potentially as many as 4-5 trips/year)
Must be very experienced with providing care to infants & children
Must be able to identify training deficiencies and locate training opportunities to fill gaps on EP team
