Location: Somalia
Based in Somalia, we require Doctors/Paramedics to join the Emergency Response team in Somalia, in support of the United Nations.
Successful applicants will require the following:
Doctors:
Doctorate Degree (Medical)
5 years post qualification experience in either Anaesthesia and/or emergency medicine or post
speciality accreditation in Aero-Medicine
Combat Environment experience in similar environments to Somalia
Qualification/certification in either one or more of the following: -
o Critical Care transport course
o Flight paramedic Course
o PHTLS
o ACLS
Paramedics/ Emergency Nurses:
Nursing or Paramedic registration, diploma or degree
A minimum of 5 years’ experience
Combat Environment experience in similar environments to Somalia
Qualification/certification in either one or more of the following:
o Critical Care transport course
o Flight paramedic Course
o PHTLS
o ACLS
50% of Personnel must speak intermediate level French and provide documented evidence such as a
language test. This is Mandatory and will be assessed .
