TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direct supervision of the medical coordinator and in collaboration with the medical supervisor and the field coordinator, you will ensure the training of the medical staff.
More precisely you will technically assess the training of the medical supervisor and the medical team.You will develop appropriate training objectives, plannings, contents and the material needed according to WHO and DoH protocols as well as provide training on specific topics linked with the assessed needs. You will conduct a specific theoretical and on the job training on clinical and reproductive health. Another of your responsibilities will be to sensitize the medical staff on IPC measures, wound and cicatrisation. You will also train the medical staff regarding concordance between diagnosis and treatment/prescription
The activities may vary depending on the situation.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Status : Volunteer - VSI
Contract : Volunteer - VSI (French status)
Duration : 2 months
915 euros / month + perdiem
The two-month job is split between two locations : one month in Dohuk and one month in Kirkuk.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
Registered nurse.
Experience in a similar position.
Experience in the Middle-East context.
Experience in primary health care and reproductive health programs.
You are able to provide training to medical teams and to create toold and monitor process.
You have abilities in capacity building or training of trainers.
You are proficient in the use of word, excel and other special software.
You are patient, flexible,organized and reactive.
You can adapt easily, anticipate and take initiatives regarding requirement changes.
You are able to synthesize.
You have listening and diplomacy skills and good communication skills (oral and written) in order to exchange efficiently with the team and with varied organizations and agencies.
You show team spirit and are respectful of a traditional society.
Languages:
English: Good level (speaking and writing).
Arabic and/or Kurdish:Good level(speaking and writing) is an asset.
