We are currently seeking a talented nursing professional to join our team at Olympic Dam. Reporting to the Lead – Environmental, Radiation & Health, you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a high level of health services to personnel on site, ensuring a holistic and consistent approach is applied in your treatment and care.
Please note this is a residential or Drive In/Drive Out (DIDO) position, operating on a 7/7 roster arrangement.
You will provide medical treatment and conduct routine health surveillance such as pre-employment, exit and periodic medical assessments, as well as administering drug and alcohol testing whilst confidentially maintaining accurate records for all services provided. You will complete daily tasks to assist with the functional management of the medical centre, ensuring that hygiene and availability of equipment are prioritised. This role includes effectively managing stock and drug registers and recording all relevant transactional data in 1SAP.
The successful applicant will have outstanding stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships across all levels on site. This role will offer a lot of diversity and although you will be working as part of a large team, you will need to be self-driven and confident in working autonomously. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse and additionally hold AQTF drug and alcohol testing, as well as Advanced Life Support accreditation. An Occupational Health Nursing qualification will be highly regarded. Flexible work arrangements or job sharing may be considered for the right candidate.
