Critical Care Assistant / Paramedic (Licensed in South Africa) , Kenya

The Role:


Your primary responsibility would be transporting critically ill or injured patients from military aircraft to a local hospital via an ambulance. Ideally, you will have extensive experience transporting patients in an ambulance and have familiarity with critical care equipment. Your deployments are set up as 14 days on 14 days off. While deployed on this assignment, your food, travel, and lodging will be provided for you. Transportation to and from an approved airport in South Africa will also be covered. The team members on this rotation have enjoyed the schedule which often allows them to maintain their current CCA role in South Africa or simply travel during their off weeks.


Position Qualifications
Currently licensed/certified as a critical care assistant (CCA) in South Africa
At least two (2) years experience providing emergency care at the Advanced Life Support (ALS) level
Have the ability to travel to and depart from an approved international airport within South Africa
National Diploma
Ability to travel internationally without restriction
Current BLS & ACLS or equivalent
Willingness to work 14 days on / 14 days off schedule
Previous experience driving emergency vehicles

Preferred Qualifications
PHTLS, ITLS, or equivalent certifications
