Location: Pacific Islands
The Role:
This position will be used to fill a variety of openings on islands throughout the Pacific region. You would work in a clinic setting alongside a multi-disciplinary team. You would often assist in the treatment of urgent care type clinical cases while being ready to respond to acute emergencies. You will need to be a clinician that is committed to clinical excellence while also providing your patient with an excellent patient experience. If you have thought about exploring a career in remote medicine, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. This role is a part of our Domestic Project Team which could also give you the potential to explore other possibilities in remote medicine throughout North America. Ideally, you are an experienced paramedic looking to take on a new challenge in remote medicine.
Position Qualifications
3+ years of full-time paramedic experience
Currently licensed as an NREMT-Paramedic
Active Hawaii State Paramedic License
Current BLS & ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a clinic setting (urgent care, emergency room, etc)
OSHA 44 certification or similar training
PHTLS or ITLS certifications
Experience driving emergency response vehicles
