Paramedic role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Managing initial evaluation/treatment of work related injuries
- Handling clinic visits for non-occupational minor illnesses/injuries- Follow up on work related injuries and disability management/return to work cases
- Responding to medical emergencies both in Health Services and on the plant site
- Perform annual medical surveillance testing/clearances for the site employees, contractors and other visitors

The Health Services is open 24/7 for the site and shifts involve days/evenings/nights/weekends as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required
- Associates degree or higher is preferred

Required:
- Minimum of 2 years active recent work experience as a Paramedic within an EMS station
- Current Medical Command possessing current BLS/ACLS/PALS/EVOC certifications
- Successful completion of a certified Paramedic training program with a certificate in good standing in Pennsylvania National Registry
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- This will require that you undergo titer testing

Preferred:
- Outpatient medical clinic or emergency department experience
- National Registry certification (NREMT)
