The Role:

In this role, you would ideally be available on short notice with deployments that are based on mission needs. As a disaster response medic, you would travel to a variety of austere and/or remote environments to provide high-quality medical care and other supportive task as assigned. Mission goals and objectives could vary greatly from project to project, and you will have an opportunity during the application process to share your preferred schedule, rotations and notice times.

This ongoing opening is used to support potential project needs and may not represent an immediate need or guarantee of one. Should a project need arise, candidates whose candidacy is being pursued will be contacted about the potential opening.

Rotations:

Based on project needs.

Locations:

This role could take you to disaster response areas domestically and internationally. This is why candidates should have the current ability to travel internationally without restriction.

Position Qualifications
Currently licensed as a paramedic with a minimum of two years experience
Previous disaster response experience
The ability to leave at short notice.
Current BLS & ACLS
Able to work and live without amenities (without power, with shared accommodations/tents, basic food, using rudimentary bathroom facilities)
Able to work long hours in unpredictable and unstable conditions
Ability to travel internationally without restriction

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a clinic setting (urgent care, emergency room, etc.)
Experience driving emergency response vehicles
Previous humanitarian response experience.
