Key Skills
A leading mining company in Africa is looking for a Medical Doctor for their operation. You will ensure he delivery of quality medical care by providing supervision to the medical staff, including doctors, dentist, physiotherapist, laboratory technicians & X-Ray technician. Conducts review of patients as necessary. Ensures comprehensive, accurate and concise medical records are maintained for patients including, an appropriate, signed, dated, and legible entry in the patient’s medical record for every attendance upon a patient. Contributes to quality patient care by participation in case planning, which includes appropriate pre-admission planning, in-hospital care and discharge planning. Provides assistance with surgical procedures and outpatient clinics as directed by the Chief Medical Officer. Supervises investigations, surgical treatment, medical treatment and discharge of patients. Supervises the referral of patients.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following MBChB or equivalent (medical degree), Master’s degree (clinical/surgical field). Diploma in Tropical Medicine. Current registration with the Health Counsel of the home country/ country where degree was obtained. Certificate of good standing from the Health Counsel of the home country/ country where degree was obtained.
