Hotel Nurse

Job Summary

Process the visa and OHC medical exam of team members.
Responsible for health card application of team members.
Prepare expense report for visa and OHC medical exam budget.
Give proper care and attention to team members with health issues.
Promote wellness through health tips and teachings.
Responsible for sick leave of team members.
Ensure weekly medicine inventory and update clinic files.
Make appointments for team members with the hotel’s approved medical centre and hospital.
Update the HR notice boards.
Schedule team member’s medical exams.
Work closely with PRO in regards of visa related issues.
Ensure that weekly update on any medical issues are informed to Director of Human Resources.
Update HR Secretary and HR Generalist on team members who are scheduled/approved for their medical.
Conduct a daily check with the departments for any concerns related to health.
Provide HR with the monthly birthday update.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of health and safety issues.
Assist in establishing policy and processes for accident compensation and employee rehabilitation
Handle all communication concerning occupational health and safety and informs the Director of Human Resources of the day to day issues
Ensure input into the orientation and induction of new staff including training in techniques of safe manual handling and identification and prompt reporting of health and safety risks.
Monitor staff adherence to workplace health and safety procedures
Ensure staff of the establishment are aware of their rights and responsibilities as well as the Hotel’s rights and responsibilities
Plan and co-ordinate activities which ensure the prevention and control of potential hazards
Demonstrate a knowledge of hazard identification, prevention and control
Maintain accurate records of safety audits, analysing health and safety deficits in the environment and take necessary action to overcome problems and prevent and control risks
Ensure procedures are in place within the establishment for the investigation and reporting of health and safety issues
Ensure professional specific activities are carried out in accordance with relevant authority.
Demonstrate complete understanding and awareness and adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as the company’s emergency and evacuation procedures.
Comply with the company’s corporate code of conduct.
Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
Respond to changes as dictated by the Industry, company and/or hotel.
