Job Summary


This position is responsible for providing organizational learning and performance services to clinical and non-clinical caregivers throughout CCAD. These services include, but are not limited to, collaboration with stakeholders to help determine needs assessment & analysis, curriculum & instructional designs, course instruction and evaluation. Project management, performance consulting, innovation strategies and change management are also key elements of the position.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Helps facilitate and enhance the achievement of individual, departmental and CCAD goals
Teaches and maintains instructor status in life support courses to include, but not limited to, Basic Life Support (BLS), Heartsaver First Aid (HSFA), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Helps create and conduct educational offerings to both clinical and non-clinical staff that fulfill learning initiatives and regulatory requirements that align with CCAD goals and business needs
Evaluates how well learning strategies and results match CCAD goals and strategic intent
Collects and analyzes feedback data about training programs and makes modifications to ensure that diverse educational needs for employees are being met
Implements and maintains systems for creating, managing and distributing knowledge
Demonstrates competency with equipment used
Demonstrates competency with equipment and common practices impacting areas of responsibility within CCAD, including familiarity with applicable policies, procedures and industry changes
Performs other related tasks as assigned

Skills
Education Requirement

 Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, or related field, is required
 Master’s degree in Healthcare, or related field, is preferred


Skill Requirement

Minimum of three (3) years of professional healthcare experience, or related field, is required
Minimum of two (2) years experience in training, development or organizational learning is preferred
Current life support instructor status in BLS & ACLS is required
Current PALS instructor status is preferred
Experience in the assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning and performance processes
Strong understanding of the process for organizational learning and performance
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of professional personnel
Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office and other PC applications
