I am currently recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor for a major EPC contractor in the North East of England. This Occupational Health Advisor will be a major influence of this site's occupational health process and hold the full remit of health surveillance, assessments, advice, first-aid, education, training, sickness, drug and alcohol testing, counselling
and various minor medical procedures.
This major international business excel in project based work, they are focused on the goal and enable their clients to relax while they wait for the completed project. This company has a number of built construction facilities with great access to the North Sea, this enables excellent accessibility for fabrication by rail, road, air or sea and has a great history of expertise in the area.
Some of the responsibilities of this Occupational Health Advisor will be part of but not limited to be:
Day to day management of the medical centre
Data entry on the online system
Testing (Alcohol and Drug)
Advice on health issues
Accident and incident reporting
Medical audits
Department budget control
Emergency response reviews
Consultation and visits
Insurance claim assistance
To be considered for this role you need to be or have evidence of the following:
Qualified in the Nursing and midwifery council
Over five years nursing experience
Experience of quality, health, safety and environmental programs
Experienced communicator
Experience of employment and medical law and legislations
