Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Medical Doctor located in Offshore, Thailand through May 31, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. (EST).

Position Details: Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
•Provides and supervises the support for
a) preventive medical care services through various medical programs such as Nutrition program, Fitness assessment and Exercise
Program, Heart Care Program, Liver Care Program, Cancer Prevention Program, Smoking Cessation Program, Vaccination Program,
Health Education Program.
b) general medical care services through conducting medical consultation, medical treatment, referrals as
well as follow-ups.
c ) medical Emergency through assisting preparation of the emergency scheme, supervising the training of the in-house first aid
course, conducting the training of life saving instrument such as automatic external defibrillator, ensuring the up-to date
training of the medical staffs, conducting the medical emergency exercise, supervising the procurement and maintenance of
various life support instrument as well as medication, and 24 hour standing by for emergency during offshore work shift.
•Provides and supervises occupational health services for offshore and onshore Chevron Thailand facilities by
a) performing the review of medical data for company required occupational health programs such as
b) audiometric testing, vision screening, respirator medical clearances, biological monitoring program for benzene and mercury,
as well as educating the workforce on occupational health related issues,
c) providing and ensuring the general hygiene control through conducting the hygiene audit and supervising the food contamination
screening and food hygiene program, facility hygiene inspection, water quality and pest control monitoring program.
• Provides fitness for duty evaluation for offshore and onshore Chevron Thailand facilities by reviewing the medical fitness for work issues
such as pre-employment, pre-placement, periodic physical including prescription drug review and employee return-to-work cases.
• Provides the support and supervision of the Substance Abuse program as well as Employee Assistance Program for offshore and onshore Chevron Thailand facilities.
• Provides the support for the corporate responsibility program such as community first aid course, mobile dental clinic and blood donation program
•Provides effective health management system by:
a) establishing work goals, objectives and monitors performance of all medical support personnel
b) coordinating the medical issues within the company, other business units as well as the external parties
c) supporting the OE process
d) standing in for the Chief Medical Officer when required


Required Qualifications: (Education, Work Experience, English and Computer Skills)
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Doctor of Medicine
• 8-10 years working experience
• Hold Thai Medical License
• Strong clinical skill is required
• Certified of Occupational Health Specialist is advantage
• Fluent in listening, speaking and writing English (equivalent to TOIEC score at 800)
• Good knowledge of computer skill and database management
• Strong coordination, interpersonal, people and communication skills
