Cleveland Clinic, Abu Dhabi is a brand new, 364-bed, tertiary-care hospital. The hospital is a bright, contemporary facility with floor to ceiling glass walls, which provide beautiful views of the Persian Gulf.
The 45-bed Emergency Room will treat adult patients with critical and urgent care needs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates department operations with other departments/disciplines
Maintains clinical and managerial competencies
Ensures the practice of professional nursing and manages the delivery of care
Monitors key performance indicators, including: quality, safety, financial, operations, etc.
Supports risk management activities
Develops and maintains operating and capital budgets
Contributes to CCAD, nursing and ER policies and procedures
Keeps abreast of best practices for nursing practice .
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online degrees cannot be considered)
RN license in the USA or Canada
Certificate or post graduate diploma in Nursing/Healthcare Management preferred
Six (6) years or recent experience as an RN in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in the USA or Canada
2-3 years of current experience as an ER Manager is required
International accreditation experience preferred
